I have a Bosch dishwasher, model SHU9915UC/U11. The spring mechanism on the detergent door cracked, and I bought the part to replace it.

I took the front cover off of the dishwasher to determine how to replace it. Two white plastic 'things', maybe spacers, fell out. I need 2 things: a) how to gain access to the spring on the detergent door so that I can replace it, and b) how to put the door spacers back on.

You have to remove the entire dishwasher from under the counter. Then locate the broken cable. There is a panel you need to remove to access it. It attaches to a spring which goes to the underside of the dishwasher. Not an easy repair. Elegance Jc 5489 Manually.
